JOB OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for assistance in all programmatic areas, as well as case assistance for older adults, ages 60+, who are enrolled as CLLD participants.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide case assistance, including initial intakes, benefits/entitlements, information/referrals, advocacy, immigration services, and other case assistance as needed
- Writing comprehensive, accurate, and timely case notes
- Data entry into DFTA computer software program
- Completing and submitting monthly unit logs for case assistance and information/referral
- Assist with promoting and implementation of all department programs, as needed
- Assist with coordination of transportation services for participants
- Responsible for compliance to DFTA standards, including unit mandates
- Assist with review and entry of units, as needed
- Updating client online profiles as required
- Assist with periodic evening and/or weekend meal and special event programs and duties, as needed
- Responsible for all Holocaust related assistance, including being on relevant UJA calls and possibly attending occasional off-site events pertinent to this topic
- Tracking Holocaust assistance on discretionary unit log
- All other projects assigned by Supervisor
RELEVANT SCOPE MEASURES:
- General case assistance, benefits and entitlements, work with older adults, tracking, reporting, program assistance, Holocaust assistance, adhering to all required deadlines
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working with constituents on a one-to-one basis; experience working with active adults a plus
- Russian speaking required; English fluency required
- Knowledge of Holocaust survivor resources
SALARY/HOURS:
Full-Time / 40 Hours
Salary: $43,000 - $45,000
