The ALE Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day operation of the program including supervision, staff development, data input, data analysis, extensive outreach, and maintain a collaborative relation with other not-for- profits. In addition, the coordinator will attend RAEN networking events, share best practices, and address any barriers that students may have. Most importantly, the ALE Coordinator will work as part of the team of the Adult Education Department.
ABOUT YOU
Recruit, register and identify eligible of students
Facilitate intake, data entry and reporting, testing, placement, assessing and monitoring students’ progress.
Develop an Individual Employment and Education Plan for each student.
Travel by car to various class sites
Maintain accurate records in ASSIST.
Supervise the Adult Education Teachers and Volunteers
Locate sites for classes and maintain a working relationship with site supervisors.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Recruit and register students.
Follow up on contacts from phone calls and emails.
Develop partnerships in the community to recruit students
Supervise staff
Input data daily into the ASSIST system
Attend RAEN meetings
Follow up on students who are absent or who may have needs and make referrals
Recruit and train volunteers as needed
Maintain a relationship with class site contacts
And other duties as given by both the Director and Assistant Director of the Adult Education Department at the JCC.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
The ALE Coordinator will hold a Master’s Degree in Education or a related field with at least 3 years of experience working with Adult students

SALARY
Range from $40,000 to $50,000 per year, 35 hours per week
