JOB SUMMARY
The JCC seeks an Outreach and Data Entry Specialist. Under the direction of the Director of Career Services, the Outreach and Data Entry Specialist is responsible for community outreach, recruitment, and data entry for all aspects of programming. Develops and builds community partner relationships in the Construction, Security, Clean Energy, and Tech industries. Promotes programs, identifies potential candidates, and supports the success of the programs through reporting data and statistics.

The Outreach and Data Entry Specialist is responsible for the recruitment of Career Connections training programs through community outreach and accurately entering, managing, and maintaining participant records and performance data. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with funding requirements, tracking participant progress, and supporting overall program operations through precise data management. Work seamlessly with the broader CRED team to provide holistic support to all participants.

Work seamlessly with the broader CRED team to provide holistic support to all participants.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support participants and CRED staff during intake, to ensure that the program participants choose appropriate based on their career interests and occupational goals, and that staff are aware of participants' social service needs, which will promote participant program completion, job attainment, and quality of life.
- Outreach includes but is not limited to tabling at community events; canvassing, representing JCC CRED program at community events; presenting at Information Sessions; speaking individually with candidates and participants.
- Oversee Career Connections Event registration, such as Job Fairs, THRIVE Expo, etc.
- Follow up with Career Connection Alumni to enter updated job status
- Accurately input participant information into internal databases and external systems (e.g., funder portals).
- Maintain up-to-date records on participant enrollment, attendance, milestones, credentials, job placements, and outcomes.
- Review data for discrepancies and work with program staff to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Generate reports and summaries to support performance tracking and reporting needs.
- Assist with organizing digital and physical files related to program documentation.
- Support audits and monitoring visits by ensuring timely access to accurate data.
- Uphold confidentiality and data security standards at all times.
- Update and maintain the Database of Training Program participants
- Assist with additional tasks as needed to ensure participants can access the supports needed to sustain themselves while sourcing employment.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated possession of skills and personality to forge relationships with CRED target population: under/unemployed adults 18-40, involved in the criminal justice system or impacted by community violence
- Demonstrated ability to encourage the target population’s participation and continuation in the program
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Data Entry
- Experience in communicating with potential funders via letters, emails, and phone calls
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team atmosphere
- Demonstrated cultural competence
- Experience working on a team
- Be a “credible messenger” with strong community connections.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized
- Flexible and able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
- Innovative, imaginative, and provide a positive role model for participants and staff.
- Independent judgment, initiative, and advanced administrative skills.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- At least two (2) years of successful and relevant experience.
